AGM and Tacon Lecture- February 24th!

Our biggest Art Education event of the winter is coming to Toronto on Friday, February 24th, 2012. Our Annual General Meeting will be presented on the same night as the OAEA Awards Presentation and the Tacon Art Education Lecture. Details under Events.

Update from the OAEA Board…

We have recently elected Robert Durocher to the OAEA board. Robert is an art specialist and junior teacher at Rose Avenue Public School in Toronto, and will be focusing on equity issues in his new board position. Amy Barnes has also been elected to a board seat, taking on the role of Membership Secretary. Laura McCoy has stepped into the role of Recording Secretary, and so will be ensuring regular communication about board decisions. Elections for the Executive positions of the board will be held at the AGM on February 24th, 2012.

Art Attack: 2012 Conference

Planning is already underway for the next OAEA conference, to be held in Hamilton next October. VP Pat Rocco is the conference chair; if you'd like to help out, please contact her at vp3@oaea.ca.
